I used to measure a good event by how many plates went out. Somewhere along the way I noticed the rooms I actually remember weren’t the big ones — they were the ones where I could see every face at the table. So that’s the work I’m building now: private, personal, intentionally small, every dish chosen and cooked by me.
I personally source all the ingredients — produce from the farmer’s market that morning, oxtail from a farm two hours outside of the city. You bring the space and the occasion. I bring the rest.
